NPR’s Alix Spiegel covered our recent paper in Psychological Science, “Poverty, Problem Behavior, and Promise: Differential Susceptibility Among Infants Reared in Poverty” on Monday Feb 25, 2013’s “All Things Considered”.

The University of Oregon’s Media and Public Relations office covered our 2013 paper in Psychological Science, “Poverty, Problem Behavior, and Promise: Differential Susceptibility Among Infants Reared in Poverty”.

Our 2013 paper in Psychological Science, “Poverty, Problem Behavior, and Promise: Differential Susceptibility Among Infants Reared in Poverty” was picked up as newsworthy science by a number of different media outlets including the Association for Psychological Science and Science Daily.

Jennifer and Heidemarie Laurent’s paper on maternal neural responses to infant cries, which was published in Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience in 2011 received extensive coverage from numerous news outlets including PsychCentral, Medscape News, and e! Science News.

In 2010, work by our colleague Joan Luby, MD at Washington University was featured in the NY Times. The Berkeley Puppet Interview was used in this research to better understand how depression can affect even preschool aged children.
